Britannia Neighbours in Action
Britannia Neighbours is a volunteer
organization in the Commercial Drive area of East Vancouver. We undertake
projects that help to make Grandview-Woodlands, already the most interesting
neighbourhood in the city, greener and friendlier and more welcoming. Among our
projects are Mosaic Creek Park and the development and maintenance of the Napier
Square Greenway at the entrance to the Britannia Community Services Centre.

The Vancouver Poetry Slam is a Poetry competition decided by 5 different random
judges picked from the audience each night. 10 competitors with a short
open mic and a featured performer. Anyone is allowed to compete. No
props, no costumes, no musical instruments and a 3 minute time limit. Just you
and your words.
