Yes, I would really like to see an understanding by the busineses on the Drive that the sidewalks are considered public property and not private even though there may be tables, and chairs in the public space. I have had occasion where I was verbally attacked by 2 business owners on the drive because I inadvertantly put my foot on the chair to tie my shoes. They came out one at a time verbally assulting me saying that I was disrespecting the neighbourhood. I have ADD, and at the time was probobly caught up in tying my shoes and not so focued on where I was doing it. Mind you their privatly owned chairs were in a public space called a sidewalk so who do you think has a case?
